The Nokia 808 PureView is now available for sale and has been spotted in the wild, here and there but what else can we learn about the PureView.
Nokia’s 41 megapixel sensor Nokia 808 PureView has finally hit the market and has been travelling in the hands of bloggers. However, it has yet to arrive into my hands or into the hands of the general mobile phone consumer.
The price of the Nokia 808 PureView remains at an astonishing high price of £500+ in the UK online stores. I can appreciate that the 808 has a spectacular camera encased within its body but I still quake at the thought of the cost. Nevertheless, I am sure I will eventually own an 808 but perhaps not at the prices they are now. I will wait for prices to drop or perhaps have one imported.
However, the real dilemma over the Nokia 808 PureView is not its price but its colour. We have three on offer, Black, Red and White. Black and White has been found easily enough but the Red is seemingly unavailable for sale at this moment in time.
Over and above the White, Black and Red another problem is before us. Check the gorgeous match-up of colours below.
Granted they are only mock-ups but we have been here before. We have stood in prime position for our phones and purchased our colour, only to find a few months down the line, Nokia introduces some new shade of the rainbow to bedazzle us. Remember the Gold Nokia N97 mini, the Pink N8 and lest we forget, the very recent White Nokia N9, White Nokia Lumia 800 and White Nokia Lumia 900. In addition to the Magenta and Cyan Nokia Lumia Windows Phones there is now a new shade of ‘Pink’ available for the Nokia Lumia 900 coming soon.
So, what do we do? Should we hold out for a few month to see what hand Nokia has to play or do we grab hold of one of the colours presently available?
What would you do in this situation and what is your favourite colour of the moment in the colours presented here for the Nokia 808 PureView?
